Brandon's Background
Brandon Mackie's parents were raised in Iowa and moved to Colorado in 1981. Brandon was born in June of 1985 and has lived in Broomfield most of that time.
Brandon has been "turning" since the summer of 2001. He learned his trade at the Broomfield Senior Center. The seniors started a lathe program (which is free and still running) to teach young people how to use a lathe. Brandon liked it so much that his parents bought him a lathe and he has been turning ever since. Brandon eventually became one of the instructors at the Senior Center for the lathe program. He eventually hopes to open his own gallery in the near future.
Brandon enjoys making each piece, one at a time. His favorite pieces to turn are those "one of a kinds" that do not always turn out to be what he originally intended.
Brandon's Guarantee
"My art really is "handmade." Some changes in the wood are normal and give each piece more character. But, if for any reason you're not completely happy with a purchase, I'd like the chance to make it right. All you have to do is let me know! Thank you for your support!"
Signature
Each piece is hand signed and dated by Brandon when possible.
